The Cinderford Band Our regular band will be the ideal people to get us started for the Bandstand weekend who will play their traditional, modern, classical and popular arrangements.
Dampier's Round Back after a break from us for a year this talented group of people will play their own brand of Folk Music.
Drakey Wakey Samba Band The Drakey Wakey Samba Band began in Drakes Broughton in May 2004 as a result of a Community Champions grant which provided instruments and training. Since then the band has played each year in the parade for Pershore Carnival, has a regular spot at Stourport Stream Rally, has performed at Mary Arden’s House and has played at various village fetes in Worcestershire. They make a vibrant, energetic sound that instinctively draws you to them. We welcome them to Bromyard Gala.
Drakes Broughton Folk Band The D B Folk Band began at the same time as the Samba Band, and meets weekly for people of all ages who play an instrument and who wish to play with others. The band plays a variety of folk tunes from the British Isles and America. They play at village fetes, Pershore Carnival and Mary Arden’s House on a regular basis. Youngsters from the band have appeared 4 years running at Bromyard Folk Festival and have been warmly received. We are very much looking forward to seeing them at Bromyard Gala. First Hook Band We are very please to able to get these group of youngsters back again this year. They are a very popular band who have performed on T V. and have gold awards from the European Open Band Championship.
The Queen Humanities College Steel Band Our local talent from the school play once again for us. They never fail to entertain us. The Queen Humanities College Choir We are much looking forward to hearing this group of local Kids who have a award winning choir.
Harmony We have moved Geoff and Wendy to the final Sunday spot which will give those of you a chance to see this wonderful duo with their 60’s and country music.
Your Hosts for the weekend Gill and Bryan.
Once again Bryan and Gill would like to thank all the performers on the Gala Bandstand who create so much enjoyment for all.
