Visitor Guide

Getting Here

From Bromyard, follow signs to Bishops Frome on the B4214. Follow this road for half a mile and you will arrive at the permanent home of the Gala, Burgess Farm.

We are located around 30 minutes drive from the cities of Hereford and Worcester, where the nearest train stations are. There are local buses but we recommend checking weekend schedules before setting off.

We are offering a free shuttle bus service over the weekend between the Gala site and Bromyard, starting at 10am from Pump Street, through the town, and up Winslow Road on a 'Stop and Hail' service.

Parking at the Gala site is free.

There will be a signed footpath from Bromyard Community Hospital up to the Gala site, details of this route will be posted closer to the event.

cAMPING

Make a weekend of it by camping at the Bromyard Gala 2019. A large sloping field adjacent to the show is available for camping from Thursday to Sunday. There are portable toilets and chemical disposal point on site. Generators are allowed on site but we do ask that they are used considerately.

Download the Camping form by clicking the icon.

disabled access

The Gala site is wheelchair accessible and all on one level. We also have Disabled Parking closer to the Gate available.

Mobility scooters are welcome on site provided they are driven responsibly and at low speeds.

We also have disabled toilets throughout the site.

Facilities

Places to stay

If you are planning to stay in the area, we recommend exploring Visit Herefordshire, which has a directory of local accommodation.

Please be aware that ours is a very rural community, and as such local transport links between villages and towns may be limited, especially on Sundays. We advise taking this into consideration when booking accommodation.
